Welcome to The Writing Struggle, the website of Jack Edward Tuttle (me! I’m writing this) and home of Tuttle Projects Limited (my company). I write about managing personal projects to accomplish individual goals, like becoming a writer and getting healthy.
For example, I undertook my self-created 100 Day Diet Challenge which resulted in weight loss of nearly fifty pounds (twenty-two kilograms).
My aim is for The Writing Struggle to become a useful source of informative content for people looking for ways to reach their goals, as well as providing interesting and meaningful reading for the casual reader. In doing this, I hope to demonstrate my own credentials as a writer and project manager.
I’ll provide as much information about my personal projects as possible to show others what I’ve done to ensure I reach my goals.
Hi. I’m Jack Edward Tuttle. I write and publish articles here on The Writing Struggle. Welcome.
I held aspirations of becoming a writer for many years. My main issues in doing so arose from my ‘busy’ career and my inability to move beyond mere ideas; prolific procrastination, in other words. The creation of The Writing Struggle has given me a forum to both develop my craft as a writer and grow my portfolio of project management work whilst growing an audience who hold me to account and ensure I stick to my self-imposed project deadlines.
Away from writing, I am a solicitor and project manager. I live in London with my wife, Lorraine. I like grime music (and other genres, occasionally), pretentious coffee shops, cooking my own food from scratch (a lot) and reading books like Lawrence Osborne’s Bangkok Days and James Altucher’s Choose Yourself.
If you’ve read this far, feel free to say hello. I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for visiting The Writing Struggle. If any of my words resonate with you, I hope you’ll sign up for my newsletter.
